SHIHAN JOSE BABILONI 1945-2025
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Shihan Jose Babiloni 7th Dan this morning.
Shihan Babiloni was one of the earliest Country Representatives when he affiliated the Spanish IFK Federation just after the inception of the IFK.
He rose from 4th Dan in 1993 to 7th Dan in 2017 and hosted major events in his home city of Valencia. Most notably the 2nd European Championships in 1999, 2nd World Championships 2002 and the 6th World Championships in 2022.
The IFK sends its condolences to his wife and family at this time.
